King Charles sends best wishes to Gibraltarians following Treaty signing

King Charles has sent his best wishes to the people of Gibraltar following the signing of the UK-EU Treaty.

The message was sent in response to a letter from Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, written on the day the Treaty was signed.

The Chief Minister had wanted the King to hear about the agreement directly, given its importance to Gibraltar.

The reply has taken some time to get here through diplomatic channels.

The Chief Minister says he is pleased to be able to pass on the King’s message to Gibraltarians.

He has also thanked the King for his words and for his continued support for Gibraltar.
