The aim of this year's National Day poster competition was to find a fresh and innovative design to promote the day's programme of events.
Winner, 11-year-old art student, Sienna-Mae Harper, was inspired by her natural surroundings and key highlights of the day, including the return of the fireworks display.
Cultural Services and the SDGG also launched an essay competition inviting students to explore and articulate Gibraltar's right to self-determination. University student Haylee Pincho and Alexandra Attias won the first and second prize respectively, with their mothers accepting the awards on their behalf while they remained in UK for their studies.
The ceremony closed with the presentation of cheques to various charities and volunteer groups involved in the national day celebrations, with the monies raised during the Gibraltar fair, amounting to over £10,000 in total.
