Police Council will prevent the sort of issues that arose in McGrail Inquiry, says Governor

The newly formed Gibraltar Police Council will provide a forum for discussion between those responsible for policing, improve communication and create a formal record of decisions to help prevent the sort of issues that arose during the McGrail Inquiry.

Speaking to GBC, the Governor, Sir Ben Bathurst, said the White Paper on reform of the governance of the RGP goes further than the recommendations of Sir Peter Openshaw's report.
